Pandora's Pitcher, Batwing

About this Piece

This listing is for my exhibition piece, Pandora's Pitcher. It has a large batwing handle that I handbuilt. It's glazed in glossy black on the handle, inside and spilling out and the outside is glazed in a lighter green.

Please note, this is meant as a decorative piece only. DO NOT use it as a pitcher! DO NOT pick it up by the handle! You can fill it with water and use it as a vase if you like!

Materials

White Stoneware Clay for functional pottery and lead free, food safe glazes.

How it's Made

Each piece is made by me, Lindsay Keating in my studio in southeastern PA. I throw each piece on the pottery wheel, trim it, sculpt any additional elements such as a handle/make any alterations, carve and/or paint by hand, glaze and fire it twice.

Care Info

This item is food safe and microwave safe! I recommend hand washing.

This is a handmade item, expect minor flaws, that’s the beauty of handmade! :)
