Orders ship out within 2-7 business days. Orders may be combined, if I determine it is safe to do so. Partial shipping refund may apply to combined orders. I will refund you part of the shipping cost. In all other cases, shipping charges are non-refundable.
Returns & Exchanges
Cabinet of Curious Clay does not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final except in the event of a fulfillment error on my end. If there's an issue, email firstname.lastname@example.org and I will respond within 72 hours.
All orders are packed very carefully to avoid damages during transportation to their destination and leave my hands in pristine condition. If any damages occur, it will be the fault of the carrier. By choosing Route Shipping protection, your order will be insured, permitting you to file a claim with ease and receive a refund of your order. Sorry, I will not be able to make a replacement.
Route Shipping Insurance
If an item is lost by the carrier and does not include insurance, Cabinet of Curious Clay is not to be held liable, required to provide a refund or required to make a replacement. It is strongly recommended to include Route Shipping Insurance to your order at checkout.
Route is a third party application that allows customers to buy shipping insurance for all orders. Route ensures protection of customers shipment in case of lost, stolen, or damaged goods.
In order to apply for Route's Shipping Insurance, you are given the option to add the insurance during checkout. If you add Route's Shipping Insurance to your cart at checkout, you will receive an email with instructions on how to file a claim if necessary. You can also proceed to file a claim here.
- An order is considered lost if tracking never confirms package status as "delivered"
- If tracking shows no movement or looks to be stuck after exceeding the appropriate amount of shipping days, orders may be considered as lost and a claim will need to be made
How many days following the last tracking update should I file my claim?
- Domestic orders - 7 days
Claims for orders lost in-transit must be filed no later than 30 days from the last available tracking update.
- An order is considered stolen if tracking confirms package status as "delivered," but not received
- Route asks that you wait 5 days from the day your package status was marked delivered before reaching out and filing your claim
Claims for stolen orders must be filed within 15 days from the date your package was marked delivered. Any claim for more than $100.00 will require a police report.
- If your item arrives damaged, unusable, or in an unacceptable condition, Route encourages customers to file a claim immediately
- Please include photo reference of damaged item and packaging received

Return to Sender or Unclaimed Packages
This happens if you put in the incorrect shipping address. Shipping labels print exactly as what you entered at checkout. I do not change shipping addresses unless you have emailed me asking me to do so. You might need to pick up your package from the distribution center. If you do not do so in a timely manner the shipping service will send your package back to me. These are just common examples. If your package is returned to me, I will refund you the cost of the item but not the shipping fees. However, if the item breaks on the way back to me you will not be refunded.
Reselling My Work to Turn a Profit for Yourself
This is absolutely not allowed and if I find out it is happening, I will make sure to ban you from ever purchasing my work again.
