Sutured Bowl - Medium

60.00

I handmade this bowl from start to finish, altering it to look like fabric or leather and stitched with seams coming apart on one side.

How I made this item: Similar technique to the outside of the Plague doctor mugs: wheel thrown form with white clay, paddled texture, carved stitches, electric fired, black underglaze on the entire outside and wiped down, chestnut stain on the entire outside and wiped down, inside glazed red/brown and electric fired again.

Size: 5.5 diameter x 4.5 height

Weight: 1 lb 11.4oz

ALL OF MY PIECES ARE FOOD AND MICROWAVE SAFE. HAND WASHING IS RECOMMENDED.

*Please note: Due to the texture being paddled into the entire piece, the form is not perfectly in the round.

This is a handmade item, expect minor flaws, that’s the beauty of handmade! :)
