About this Piece

This listing is for one cup featuring a hand carved Plague Doctor on black on the front. Plague Doctor glazed in clear, the inside and handle are glazed in glossy black and the outside is sponged with a brown stain - Please note, the feel of the outside is not smooth, since it is unglazed, it has a matte, slightly rough texture.

White Stoneware Clay for functional pottery and lead free glazes.

How it's Made

Each piece is made by me, Lindsay Keating in my studio in southeastern PA. I throw each piece on the pottery wheel, trim it, sculpt any additional elements such as a handle/make any alterations, carve and/or paint by hand, glaze and fire it twice.
